| Hello everyone! My first post for this forum, been reading for a few years. After I turned the boost up on my Z this summer, tuner and I noticed that turbos can't keep boost up all the way to redline and thought that stock precats and catpipes are the restriction. So bigger tubes were needed. First I looked at Z1 2.5" downpipes etc but somehow ended buying Specialty-Z 3" expansion downpipes, Specialty-Z 3" to 2.5" testpipes with cats and Japspeed 2.5" catback. When I first received pipes and checked parts I thought that downpipes could be described as pieces of art. Very well manufactured, beautiful parts!! Also testpipes were high quality parts. Installation was PITA with tranny removal and VERY hard to reach bolts and nuts. No big issues with rusted ones luckily. Downpipe bolts and nuts were loose actually and few could be turned with fingertips. Tranny removal was my first one so next time it should be easier task. But once again Specialty-Z showed that they are high quality parts! Not one problem or issue with them during installation. Every bolthole and bracket was exactly where it needed to be. Best part of the installation of course was the test drive. And OMFG SOB etc what a drive that was! Boost didn't dip anymore at high RPMs, spoolup was necksnapping and sound was also very good! I actually laughed behind steering wheel and kept saying "Fuck this thing pulls!" (rough translation from Finnish). Been driving two days with upgrades now and still the same effect comes up :D These parts were beyond all my expectations with build quality, fitment and performance. I also must give two thumbs up to Specialt-Z for customer support. 110% satisfied customer!
